Why Qflow Alerts

Stay ahead of costly mistakes

Avoid unexpected costs and delays by catching issues such as non-compliant materials, incorrect fuel types, or missing certifications before they reach installation. Qflow Alerts turns delivery tickets and waste notes into live intelligence, so your team can act fast instead of firefighting problems later in the programme.

Keep control of quality and compliance

Automatically monitor deliveries against your approved suppliers, specifications, and compliance rules, without adding admin to site teams. From restricted materials to missing documentation, alerts surface the records that need attention so you maintain a clean, auditable trail.

With Qflow Alerts, you can:

Improve on-site accuracy and compliance

Spot issues before they become problems

Keep your project running smoothly

How Qflow Alerts Works

Configure alerts to match your project risks

Account admins configure alerts on a per-project basis, focusing on the fuel types, materials, suppliers, and thresholds that matter most to your programme. Each alert can trigger in-app and email notifications to key people, ensuring the right teams act quickly when an issue appears.

See and resolve alerts where you work

Alerts appear in a dedicated Alerts tab and on the relevant delivery or waste records, so site, commercial, and quality teams can see the context and decide what to do next. This keeps actions linked to evidence, making it easier to document decisions and prove compliance later.

Types of Alerts

Fuel and logistics alerts

  • Fuel diesel detection: Receive alerts when diesel is detected on site without the presence of HVO, helping you stay aligned with fuel and sustainability policies.
  • Logistics window: Set permitted delivery times and be notified when loads arrive outside those windows, supporting traffic, noise, and coordination controls.

Supplier and material risk alerts

  • Supplier watchlist: Flag higher-risk or unapproved suppliers and get notified whenever their materials appear on a delivery ticket, using intelligent name-matching.
  • Material watchlist: Track specific materials, keywords, or specification-sensitive items such as asbestos, toxic content, lead, concrete grades, timber sources, or insulation types, and receive early warnings when they appear.

Volume, waste, and documentation alerts

  • Material and waste thresholds: Set volume and weight thresholds for materials or waste streams so you can see when predefined limits are exceeded, plan storage, identify reuse opportunities, and tackle excess waste early.
  • Waste compliance: Automatically flag missing duty of care details such as container names or carrier information, helping maintain complete, compliant waste records.

Certification and data quality alerts

  • Materials certifications: Configure alerts to identify missing standards like BES 6001, ISO 14001, CARES, or FSC, ensuring certification requirements are consistently met and auditable.
  • Submission issues: Surface records Qflow cannot digitise, such as blurry or partial photos, so teams can quickly fix the underlying ticket and keep data flowing.

“It’s simple to use, and reassuring to have live and reliable materials data at our fingertips during construction.”

Get a clear view of your materials risk profile

Catch hidden materials risks before they turn into rework, non-compliance, or cost overruns. The Materials Risk Audit uses your delivery data and specifications to highlight where materials on site do not match what was planned.

You will see real examples of mismatches, opportunities to act before the wrong material is installed, and a clear digital trail you can rely on if issues around quality, delay, or theft arise.
