Prior to using Qflow, Bloom would specify locally sourced materials but didn’t have a way to monitor this in practise. Relying on Qflow to calculate mileages travelled, and associated scope 3 carbon emissions is a great time saver for Bloom, freeing up our team to work on more strategic tasks.
The client’s project carbon intensity target for new projects is <600 kg CO2/m2, so Bloom were delighted to be able to prove how little the fit-out phase contributed to this figure, minimising the cost of offsetting residual emissions.
