After successfully raising an oversubscribed Series A investment round, our technical team is now growing. Which is why we need you
We have an amazing, highly skilled and dedicated team, and a number of opportunities we can explore for the future of the Qflow product suite. We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve, and are looking for someone to help us pave the way for a more sustainable and circular built environment.
As we expand our product offering, we’re looking for someone to implement our product strategy and drive efforts to discover new market opportunities. You’ll be responsible for helping plan the product roadmap alongside the CPO, Product Owner and other key stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll engage with various teams throughout the organisation, fostering collaboration. Specifically, you’ll be working in our Core Product team, working closely with the Engineering, Commercial and Data teams, and reporting to the Chief Product Officer.
What will you be doing?
In a typical week you’ll be busy with the following:
- Explore new product ideas and initiatives relating to our strategy, including assessing viability, market opportunity and business cases.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver Proofs of Concept, prototypes and MVPs, all the way through to productionised systems.
- Work with external customers and internal Product, Engineering and Commercial team members to understand priorities, analysing needs and ensuring requirements align with product roadmap and overall strategic goals.
- Analyse data, conduct user feedback sessions, and gather insights to drive product improvements and optimize user experience, working closely with the Product Owner to gather the right data and insights.
- Collaborating with our commercial and engineering teams to understand the impact of new features and projects on business processes.
- Investigate user needs and problems in alignment with our business goals and product direction, articulating this context to the wider team to help them solve opportunities.
- Collaborate with other members of the Product Team to define team direction and priorities, representing those within the wider business.
- Identify and report on opportunities and risks associated with the product roadmap and strategy.
- Support commercial activities in developing the relevant value propositions to our customers, including active engagement with customer interactions.
- Research, identify and assess new market opportunities for product growth and expansion.
Your skills
For this role, we’re ideally looking for someone with direct experience working in AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction), who is looking for a new opportunity in product management, or a bonus if you have already worked in a ConTech SaaS (or similar) product before!
To excel in this role, you’ll need to have the following:
- Passionate about building a robust, scalable product, and the impact this has on sustainable construction and achieving net zero carbon emissions.
- Be curious. Specifically about industry problems and what we can do to solve these, always willing to ask the difficult questions in the pursuit of moving the industry forward.
- You take a problem-first approach, always ensuring to ask questions and understand context before starting work on anything.
- Customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Be able to research, understand the communicate the business value of different product features and pathways.
- A clear and articulate communicator, comfortable speaking with different audiences internally and externally, ranging from Software Engineers to non-technical clients, with the ability to adjust your style and level of detail appropriately.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You care about the impact of your work and are constantly seeking the necessary conversations to ensure that you build the right system at the right time.
- You have a growth mindset and are willing to learn and improve alongside the wider team, as part of the journey together
It’s a bonus if you also have:
- Proven experience in product management, within a SaaS or software development team (especially if this is a ConTech SaaS product).
- Strong knowledge of product management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- In-depth knowledge of digital analytics and ability to compile and communicate OKRs effectively.
- Experience and interest in start-ups, scale-ups and entrepreneurship.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing software products from concept to market.
